I am writing this article because yet again another topic I found hard to find on the internet. At least a step by step in guiding me on how to do this. Now, these files such as the firmware and the correct Odin version was not easy at all to find as this is an archived device. But, lucky you! I have found all the files needed in order to make this happen.

Prerequisites

  • Of course, you must have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 or similar model. Now, these same instructions may apply to you as well but you will need updated firmware for your device.
  • Must have a computer with a USB Port. I will be utilizing a Windows 10 PC.
  • Must have a Micro USB to USB connector to set up a connection between the tablet and the computer.

The tablet that I will be working with today can be bought at:

Step 1. Turn on Developer Options and Enable USB Debugging
